The Tandym Group is Hiring a Benefits Administrator Near Kenilworth, IL

A growing education network in Illinois is looking to add a new Benefits Administrator to their growing team in the Greater Chicago area.
Responsibilities:
The Benefits Administrator will:
  • Facilitate the educational processes of the District by effectively, efficiently and confidentially coordinating the internal processes of the business benefits and compensation
  • Assist in the development of processes and strategies surrounding the management of the benefits
  • Ensure the processing of benefits for new hires, transfers, promotions and terminations is accurate and timely
  • Prepare, administer and maintain records, files and reporting information for the various programs
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of benefit legislation, industry standards and best practices
  • Keep meticulous records on each employee for preparation of the budget
  • Work with District CFO and HR to reconcile employee’s salaries and FTE’s
  • Assist with keeping FTE’s and salaries on track in accordance with the budget and policies
  • Foster collaboration between Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Bookkeeping, in an effort of continued support between departments
  • Manage the preparation of relevant management reports, including weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports for budget creation
  • Assist the CFO with the administration of various employee benefit programs, which include medical, dental and vision healthcare plans
  • Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Computer savvy
  • Microsoft Office proficient
  • Solid problem solving and time management skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized
Desired Skills:
  • Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
